As the 79th Cannes Film Festival (12–23 May 2026) prepares to unfurl its legendary red carpet, Chopard renews its enduring love story with the silver screen. A loyal partner of the Festival since 1998, the Maison will accompany leading lights of cinema throughout the fortnight of celebrations.
This longstanding commitment is rooted in a pivotal moment in the Festival’s history, when Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, reimagined the Palme d’or. Since then, Chopard’s artisans have held the exclusive honour of crafting every official trophy awarded at the Festival’s closing ceremony. With its heart-shaped stem and 19 leaves of ethical yellow gold, set on an emerald-cut rock crystal base, the Palme d’or stands as a radiant emblem of the longstanding bond between Chopard and Cannes.
Beyond honouring established icons, Chopard champions emerging talent through the Trophée Chopard. At an official Festival dinner on 15 May held on Carlton Beach, the 26th edition of this prestigious award will be presented to two rising stars, Odessa A’zion and Connor Swindells. The ceremony will take place in the presence of Godmother Isabelle Huppert, alongside Caroline Scheufele, Iris Knobloch, President of the Festival, and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate.

The Festival also offers an exceptional setting in which to unveil the Red Carpet Collection, a celebration of the unparalleled savoir faire of the Maison’s Haute Joaillerie ateliers. Presented annually in a number corresponding to the edition of the Festival, the 2026 collection comprises 79 exceptional creations.
On 18 May, Caroline Scheufele will host the Miracles Evening, Chopard’s legendary grand soirée. Presented in a beautifully appointed setting, rich and abundant in visual detail, the venue will become the stage for an evening designed as a succession of surprises, culminating in a runway presentation revealing the Red Carpet Collection alongside the latest Caroline’s Couture silhouettes.
In parallel with its celebrations, Chopard proudly returns as Presenting Sponsor of the 32nd amfAR Gala Cannes on 21 May at the Hôtel du Cap – Eden-Roc.
For the duration of the Festival, the Maison will welcome its guests to the famed Chopard Rooftop, perched on the 7th floor of the Hôtel Martinez.

Chopard extends heartfelt thanks to its partners: Champagne Louis Roederer, Vins Monestier La Tour, Campari, San Pellegrino, Nespresso, Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, French Bloom and skincare partner Dr. Burgener.
Chopard is particularly pleased to partner with DENZA for the first time. Throughout the Festival, the premium technology-oriented automobile marque will accompany Chopard guests, providing seamless and comfortable journeys with their flagship shooting brake Z9GT to and from the Palais des Festivals, and contributing with elegance and refinement to the Maison’s presence in Cannes.
